FRIDAY LIGHT THE FIRES DINNER OVERVIEW

​5:00pm - 9:00pm


This casual evening is a delicious kick-off dinner for From the Ashes Idaho!  Come enjoy the evening and visit with our 2022 featured Pitmasters, Application Station Chefs, Media Guests, Event Partners and Sponsors. Spend time with us as we get the wood-fired stations prepared for Saturday's featured Pitmaster event.

For 2022, this evening will include:
  • Low Country Boil (Frogmore Stew) in the traditional style by Anthony DiBernardo of Swig & Swine, and including Andouille Sausage made by Sean Smith of Smokesmith Bar-B-Que
  • Pitchfork Sirloin Station by Jared Pullman, featuring Certified Angus Beef® Brand Sirloin Steaks carved and served
  • Beignet Station by the culinary team of Ten/6 (oh, YES!)

Tickets for this evening include on-site parking, dinner, non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment by Rusty Jackson. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

SATURDAY PITMASTER SHOWCASE EVENT OVERVIEW

11:00am - 4:00pm

This is the not-to-be-missed eating event of the summer season! Fill your belly at the gorgeous Settlers Creek Event Venue, enjoy entertainment and family fun throughout the day! This isn't a competition, it's a true eating event!

Our 2022 National Pitmasters have some delicious plans in store for you! These five stations will feature the following this year:
  • ANTHONY DIBERNARDO: Whole Hog from Belmont Farms, Chuck Roll from Certified Angus Beef® Brand, Corn Pudding
  • RONNIE EVANS and PHILIP MOSELEY: Tri-Tip from Certified Angus Beef® Brand, Cracklin', Potato Salad
  • ARNIS ROBBINS: Brisket from Certified Angus Beef® Brand, Sausage, Green Chili Oaxaca Grits
  • BRAD PEUGH: Chicken Thighs, Loaded Baked Beans
  • SEAN SMITH: Pork Ribs from Prairie Fresh, Coleslaw

Our regional Application Station Chefs will bring their talents to share some fantastic ways to put these smoked and fired meats to work in your home menu planning!
  • CHRISTIAN KEARNS: Tri-Tip Arepas with chimichurri, pickled onions, and black beans AND Smoked Shoyu Tri-Tip Ramen (both dishes featuring Certified Angus Beef® Brand Tri-Tip)
  • JUSTIN O'NEILL: Smoked Chicken Chicharron Nachos AND Orange Gochugaru Burnt Chicken Ends (both dishes featuring chicken thighs)
  • JORDAN OBERMEYER: Pork Rillettes AND Choripan Kofta (both dishes featuring pork from Prairie Fresh)

​Tickets for the Pitmaster Showcase include generous samples throughout the event, non-alcoholic beverages and entertainment by the Sam Leyde Band, Lyle Witherrite, and Jackson Roltgen as well as round trip shuttle transportation from Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene (no onsite parking is available on Saturday). Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
